Policy on Conflicts of Interest, Grant Support, and Financial Disclosure

The Axis Journal of Scientific Innovations (AJSI) mandates full transparency from all authors to maintain the highest level of integrity in the research it publishes. This policy requires the disclosure of any financial or personal interests that could be perceived as unduly influencing the work reported in a submitted manuscript.

1. Conflicts of Interest Disclosure
Authors must disclose any personal or financial relationships that constitute a conflict of interest within the past three years. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Financial Interests: Employment, consultancies, stock ownership, equity stakes, honoraria, paid expert testimony, relevant patent applications or registrations, and receipt of travel grants.

  • Personal Relationships: Close personal or professional affiliations with individuals or organizations that have a direct interest in the research outcomes.
If no such conflicts exist, authors must explicitly state: "The authors declare no known competing financial interests or personal relationships that could have appeared to influence the work reported in this paper."

2. Grant Support and Financial Disclosure
All sources of financial support for the research must be explicitly acknowledged.

  • Funding Statement: The manuscript must include a section that lists all granting agencies, foundations, and other sources of financial support, including grant numbers where applicable.

  • Statement of Independence: For research funded by a commercial entity or other organization with a vested interest, the authors must provide a statement confirming their full and independent access to all of the study's data and that they take complete responsibility for the data's integrity, the analysis's accuracy, and the impartiality of the interpretation, regardless of the funding source.

3. Reviewer Disclosure
Reviewers are obligated to disclose any potential conflicts of interest to the handling editor upon receiving a review invitation. This ensures the objectivity and impartiality of the double-blind peer-review process.

4. Publication of Disclosures
In line with our commitment to transparency, all disclosed conflicts of interest and the funding statement will be published prominently within the article. This allows readers to form their own judgments about the work within the context of any potential influences.

This comprehensive policy is designed to uphold the highest standards of accountability and transparency in scientific publishing, thereby safeguarding the trust of the academic community and the public in the research disseminated by the Axis Journal of Scientific Innovations (AJSI).
